PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

1. Networking laptops, Windows NT systems, non Windows platforms and Dot Matrix printers are not supported with the use of Summit.

2. To insure data integrity and system performance; servers with programs such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint or Web/Intranet servers may cause problems with Summit. These software packages are designed to run on computers by themselves and can cause Summit to produce unexpected errors.

3. Windows 2000 and Office 2000 are not supported by Microsoft. We do acknowledge that Summit will work with this software, however, Office 2000 is known to have memory leaks and we do not recommend its usage. We do not test new versions of Summit software on unsupported versions of Microsoft software.

4. Although Brother Printers work fine with MS Windows, we do not recommend its use with Microsoft Office because we have found the documents do not print correctly with these printers.

Terminal Server and client/server connections greater than 20 require special attention.

Other Hardware	CD/DVD Drive Back-up system**
Other Software	Internet Explorer 6 or higher is required for installation. Microsoft Office XP SP3, 2003 SP3, 2007 SP1 or 2010 on all workstations (All workstations MUST have the same version of Office. Student Teacher Edition not supported )   PC Anywhere 10.5 or Remote Desktop installed and configured for remote access with drive sharing enabled.

Please note that most SQL Backup software and escrow/ real estate software can be run on the same server as Summit. However, must be installed after Summit is installed.
