– Prerequisite: Users who have never used Summit or 1st Time Users:
This class will go through the basics of opening & processing an escrow. Adding payoff & HOA info. Into the system Opening deposits, printing documents & closing documents. How to use the “updating existing order” by order number, property address etc. THIS CLASS WILL NOT GO THROUGH BALANCING A ESCROW.
Summit Two –
Prerequisite: Escrow Officers,/ Jr. Escrow Officers that are experienced users of the Summit System and have the ability to properly balance an escrow: This class will show you how to balance a CFPB/TRID file through the Summit system. Understanding the “P” & “D”’s in lender, title & escrow screen. Explanation if you have more than 1 loan in Summit. Balancing your funding from lender on your lender screen, and title screen. Reviewing Pre-Check, Check register, and Ledger card. How to handle an overfunding, from your lender and printing closing documents and your 1099S FILING.
These classes will go thru and understanding master documents and clauses, general information along with package printing, storage tabs and various setup and options available in Summit to customize the program for the Company. Trust Accounting – will go thru Daily and Monthly trust reports and accounting procedures. Prepare deposits and deposit worksheets and system setup.
